Every now and then a story comes along ...
At 48, Cynthia Brandt seemed to have it all - a successful career, beautiful homes, and a fairytale marriage.
Â
On a foggy night in Juneau, Alaska, that world shattered when her 54-year-old husband Harry died unexpectedly, 4,000 miles away in Atlanta, Georgia.Â
Though she feared that his death would destroy her, when she flew out of Juneau and into a life without Harry, she actually embarked on a journey of healing and self-discovery that no lines on a map could ever define.
In Song of the Cardinal, Cynthia uses masterful storytelling to take you with her on this journey as she honors Harry while creating a new life aligned with her authentic self.
This story of eternal love, spiritual awakening and personal transformation provides assurance that...
You are never alone
It's never too late to follow your dreams
Grace is waiting patiently for you on the other side of grief.

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I’m so excited to launch Song of the Cardinal and to share the first chapter with you today!
“Excited?” you may ask. And that’s a fair question. You likely know by now that the love of my life Harry died suddenly ten years ago. Had that not happened, there would be no story to tell. At least not this one.
But on the night of his memorial service, I realized that the real tribute to Harry, and the great love we shared, was not words spoken at the service that night, but the way I lived my life each day going forward.
Authentically. Peacefully. Joyfully.
The fact that we are meeting here today, on this page, means that I’ve taken a big step in that direction. I know that Harry is smiling about that! But I also realize it means that you or someone you love may be hurting.
I won’t dare pretend that my words will make it any better. And to be honest, Chapter One is pretty intense. But I promise, despite the intensity and sorrow, beautiful light shines through. In Chapter One and beyond.
Now you have an opportunity to read the rest of the story. And while it is based on events in my life, I suspect that occasionally you’ll see yourself peering back from the pages. You may cry at times. I promise you will laugh!
So, I’m not asking you to “buy a book” today.
I am inviting you to have an experience. To be comforted, inspired and entertained. To join me on a journey - that I believe is your journey, too.Â
So please click the link below to get started with Chapter One today or start the journey by heading straight to Amazon!
Wishing you much peace, love and joy,
Cynthia
